Samaritan School

Samaritan School project seeks to create a congenial environment in which every child regardless of sex, creed or socio-cultural background will have equal access to quality education through volunteer-run supplementary schools that take the form of Homework Clubs.

Seminars

The organization organizes speaker events in junior and senior high schools to sensitize students on Volunteerism, Health, Education and finance.

Boxing Day: Touch A Heart

In the spirit of the Boxing Day (26th December) YVWF mobilize educational materials, food items, clothes and footwear from philanthropists and donate them to orphanages, disabled rehabilitation centres and deprived communities. .

Our mission is to inculcate the spirit of volunteerism into young people and facilitate the mobilisation of resources for community development.

Who We Are ?

The organization was started in 2010 and was duly registered in 2011 with the National Youth Authority. It is non sectarian and non political in membership and therefore opened to all young people (between ages 14 - 35) having been accepted as members by the Management. YVWF is a member organisation of International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) and enjoys advisory services from the academia, civil society and the government sector.
